Product Review: E.L.F. 32 Eyeshadow Palette in Everyday Brights

I was happy to finally see that the Target that's the closest to me now carries E.L.F Cosmetics! They carry some products from the original line ($1), studio line ($3), a few sets from the mineral line, & some other sets + palettes. I was very interested in the 32 eyeshadow palette so, I decided to buy the Everyday Brights palette.

The packaging is sleek, compact, & has a nice weight to it. It has a nice range of colors from neutrals, brights, to colors that would be great to use for a smokey eye look. It also has a variety of finishes like shimmer, matte, & matte with glitter.

As for the quality of the eyeshadows & pigmentation, it's a total hit or miss. Not all the eyeshadows are pigmented. Even if an eyeshadow looks pigmented when swiped with a finger, you still have to pack on the color on your lid to get the 'true to color' shade in the pan. Eyeshadow primer & a color base (cream eyeshadow or gel/cream eyeliner) is MUCH needed. I also found using a damp eyeshadow brush really helps intensify the colors more.

Overall, this eyeshadow palette is okay. You just need to know how to work the eyeshadows. I can't compare this palette to Urban Decay, MAC, etc because that wouldn't be fair seeing how this palette was only $4.99. Is this palette a must buy? No, but it's a decent palette for it only being $4.99!
