CVS 50-75% Off Beauty Clearance Sale

It's that time a year again ladies! CVS is currently having their semi-annual beauty clearance sale at a store near you. CVS normally has their semi-annual sales 2 times a year during Jan/Feb & in the Spring/Summer. This year, they decided to have it a little earlier.

You will typically see stickers on products for 50% or 75% off. Their are products that don't have stickers on them, but are on sale. To see if a certain product is on sale, scan the item at the coupon machine to see if it's on sale. I've been to several CVS stores that haven't put stickers on any items, but I've scanned the items on the list & they were on clearance.

Mini Review: Harvery Prince & Company Perfumes

I absolutely love perfumes I mean, who doesn't like to smell good? Sometimes, it's difficult to find scents that are unique & different since a lot of perfumes (to me anyway) smell alike. This is where Harvey Prince perfume's steps away from the pack. They have unique scents that are all their own & a nice variety of perfumes to fit anyone's mood. What I especially like how their perfumes are long lasting & a little goes a long way. My problem with a lot of perfumes is that they wear off fast, not Harvey Prince perfumes. My two favorites from their line is Ageless (notes of pink grapefruit, pomegranate, & mango) & Coupling (notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, gardenia, & cucumber). You can find your ideal scent at Harvey Prince.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to work with Cleveland Fashion Photographer Latoyia of ElleSeree Photography + her team & model Ashley Oliver. I did a neutral look for the boho themed photoshoot. I finally got a chance to try out a couple of colors from the new Wet n Wild I <3 Matte palette for the look. I suggest everyone who loves matte eyeshadows to get this palette! So pigmented & the eyeshadows are smooth. Perfect palette for the fall/winter months.

I did makeup on one of my clients, Mrs. Cosgray, for Halloween. She wanted a glittery eye look with dramatic lashes so, here's what I came up with!:

The glitter may look patchy/blotchy in the last picture, but it wasn't the case at all in person...it looked great!

Beauty Couponing: Paying $24 for $112 Worth of Products

Ever since they started airing

Extreme Couponing TLC & saw a couple ladies getting makeup for free/nearly free, I've been really wanting to get into couponing for beauty items. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE higher end makeup & don't have any problem dropping a pretty penny on it, but when it comes to drugstore makeup, if there's coupons available...why not use them! I've been couponing on beauty items like crazy this week. I've even ordered some coupons yes, I have it bad. It's all paid off though! This week, I've gotten $112 worth of beauty items for only $24! I had $88 worth of coupons. I had coupons for $8 off 2, $1 off, $10 off 2, $3 off 2, & a few products were BO1GO 50% off. I even had overage of $2 & got a $10 off a $10+ purchase at Rite Aid. I think I did really good considering this is my first time really couponing.
